Potential unrest has been reported by the FBI in State Capitols across the country. Much of the unrest and rioting at the US Capitol in Washington, DC, last week was fomented by groups affiliated with known Black Lives Matter and Antifa activist John Sullivan of InsurgenceUSA.

The Standard spoke with Commander Matthew Calhoun with the SC Bureau of Protective Services about the defensive mechanisms they have instituted at the SC State Capitol to prevent those type riots taking place here.

Chief Calhoun said that there have been no direct threats to the State Capitol at this time. Calhoun said the BPS has put into place barricades, hard scape barriers, and increased law enforcement presence.

Thursday this week John Sullivan, an active BLM and Antifa organizer, was arrested for his part in leading the riots at the nation’s Capitol. He has been implicated in disguising himself as a Trump supporter while carrying out acts of violence at the Capitol on January 6th.

In doing so he had posed as a journalist to take part in the riots without being removed from the scene. Marxist organizations posing as journalists has been a recent tactic by revolutionary activists to gain access to otherwise limited or prohibited areas. Officers are typically prohibited from arresting, dispersing or using force against reporters. Part of the downside to halting these “fake journalists” is potential regulation by the very institutions of government that real news media is supposed to be watchdog over.

In the video above The Standard reporter Zoe Warren has captured many of the scenes surrounding the the domestic terrorist activities taking place by Marxist groups. Unfortunately, these expose’s are not well known by many people due to limited reach. Unless these news stories and video’s produced by The Standard and some other news outlets are shared among their contacts and directed to the website’s where deeper coverage of news is made available, citizens will remain ignorant of what is taking place around them.
