“These are dark times for our nation,” wrote President Trump, after the FBI raided his home in Palm Beach on Monday. The reason for the raid, as some speculate, is that the former President has official documents hidden at Mar-a-Lago, violating the Presidential Records Act.
The raid is a stunning move by the Biden Administration—and a supposedly non-political Justice Department—considering that Hillary Clinton, as Secretary of State, set up a private email server and, without consequence, deleted 33,000 emails.
A Ruse to Keep Trump out of 2024?
A provision of the Act states that a person who violates the law “shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office.” The penalty for being found guilty is a fine or imprisonment for not more than three years.
President Trump released a statement saying he had already worked with and cooperated with the relevant government agencies, and “this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate.”
Eric Trump said personal lawyers weren’t not allowed to observe the raid.

The National Archives and Records Administration said in February that it found classified documents in 15 boxes at Mar-a-Lago and alerted the FBI.
- President Trump responded, “The National Archives did not ‘find’ anything, they were given, upon request, Presidential Records in an ordinary and routine process to ensure the preservation of my legacy and in accordance with the Presidential Records Act.”
- He added that Democrats “are in search of their next Scam.”
- Trump had wide powers when he was president to declassify documents.
Trump’s Toilet Issues?
Maggie Haberman is a top reporter for the New York Times. She is also a flagman for the Deep State, using Twitter to communicate the marching orders. Back during the Trump administration, one of her strangest tweets reads: “OH on the Q train intercom: Attention passengers. The intercom phone is for emergencies only, it is not for asking the conductor questions.” Weird.
After the raid, Maggie was on CNN promoting her anti-Trump book, “Confidence Man,” and revealing stunning photos of… toilets. These aren’t just any toilets, one is supposedly at the White House, and the other is a “foreign” toilet. Both contain notes that Maggie says Donald Trump tore up and flushed–only they didn’t make it down the tubes.
The notes are stuck in the bottom of the bowl.
Maggie says they came to her from anonymous sources, staffers of the Trump White House, who also reported to her that they regularly found ripped-up printed paper clogging the toilet after Trump was in the bathroom.
Epstein’s Guy Signed the Warrant
Who do you suppose signed the warrant for the raid? It was US Magistrate Judge and Obama donor Bruce Reinhart. He has quite a history.
• Reinhart was the attorney for various employees of Jeffrey Epstein, including his pilots and his “scheduler.”
• Reinhart was later named in a civil lawsuit that accused him of using inside information about Epstein—from when he worked for the DOJ—to build favor with Epstein. Then he switched sides, a violation of Justice Department policies.
Magistrate judges are not appointed by the President or confirmed by the Senate, but they sign nearly all federal warrants.
If the charges against Trump were solid and credible, wouldn’t it have been wisdom to have a higher level judge sign-off on a warrant to raid the home of a former US President.
They’re still Getting Away with it
FBI Director Christopher Wray sat in front of the Senate GOP last week. He wouldn’t answer their questions, and told them he had to leave early “for business.” That’s not true. Wray left early on an FBI Gulf Stream jet bound for the Adirondacks, a favorite summer destination since Wray’s childhood.
• He did this knowing his FBI would raid Trump’s home after the weekend.
Pelosi took her son, Paul Jr., on her trip to Asia and Ukraine last week. Her office blocked out his name in official records, but he was caught on film by foreign photographers in Singapore and Japan (see above). Paul Jr. sits on the board of two lithium companies in Taiwan.
• Last month, Pelosi’s husband caused an accident with injuries driving while drunk. He was let off with a misdemeanor. He has also been accused of insider trading. Nancy and Paul Pelosi have a net worth of $125 million. On Tuesday, after the raid, Pelosi called China one of the freest societies in the world
Let’s not forget Hunter Biden, who set up a meeting between his Vice President father and the Obama administration’s point man on Ukraine. While daddy threatened Ukraine’s President to stop the investigation into a shady Ukrainian energy firm, Hunter netted a deal whereby the same shady firm paid him $83,000 a month. He also traveled to China with his dad to close an investment deal with members of the Chinese Communist Party.
- Hunter is not being investigated for any of that, only for tax fraud. Monday was the last day for the FBI to hand over to Congress the documents from Hunter’s laptop.
None of Jeffrey Epstein’s clients have had their homes raided by the FBI since the Ghislaine Maxwell trial concluded. None of Maxwell’s “associates” have been examined either.
Why Now?
• Richard Nixon resigned on Aug. 8, 1974
• Trump’s home raided Aug. 8, 2022
Both of the above coincide with upcoming midterm elections. The Nixon administration attempted to cover up its involvement in the 1972 break-in of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters, and Nixon resigned because of it. This time, Trump is being targeted because he is the biggest threat the bureaucracy has ever encountered.
President Trump may have planned to announced his 2024 bid very soon. This is one way to cast a pall of suspicion over his candidacy. Legal analyst Andrew McCarthy writes that the raid may have been to find stolen protected documents as a mask for the real intent. He says: “As long as agents are conducting a legitimate search, they are authorized to seize any obviously incriminating evidence they come across.”
Why this Matters: The Justice Department lacks proof that Trump is criminally responsible for January 6, and prosecutors may have been looking for “potential” evidence of crimes. But whether they’re going for a Records Act violation, or for causing a riot, the DOJ is hell bent on indicting President Trump.
