Last Saturday, Candace Owens spoke to an overflow crowd at Burnsview Baptist Church in Greer. Her speech focused on the breakdown of the American family and encouraged her enthusiastic supporters that now is the time to get back to defending the nuclear family. The Bible verse that she showed on the screen before her speech began echoed the calling that she believes we have. It read, “Moses is dead. Now arise to take his place and cross over this Jordan into the Promised Land ~ Joshua 1:2.”

A key point to her speech was exposing Black Lives Matter as one of the top groups trying to destroy families in America. She educated the audience on how it is somewhat of a mystery of where the billions of dollars donated to Black Lives Matter goes, but she hinted that we have a good idea of where it goes. “It’s a huge mystery. It’s like a hole. I think we know where it goes! We don’t know, know, but we know where it goes,” remarked Owens.

The crowd applauded her speech the whole way through. One attendee of the event, Jay Kilmartin, from Columbia, had this to say about Owens, “It’s as if she is on fire rattling off facts. One after the other seemingly without taking a breath.”

The radical feminist movement was another group that Owens exposed during her speech. “I am probably one of the proudest non-feminists in America. You have women running around telling other women that they don’t need men. That that is a token of your security in life – that you don’t need men. The good news is that biology will take those people out,” said Owens to the crowd.

Owens made a surprise announcement to the audience at the event announcing that she was six months pregnant. After learning the news from Owens, attendee Jeff Davis from Greenville said, “Her energy and enthusiasm to make a better world for her child was well taken by the audience.”

“Candace is a brave American who speaks truth to the destructive agenda of the left which has been destroying the black community for decades and is now hell-bent on destroying America. Her uncompromising voice gives hope to those yearning to be set free,” remarked Greenville Tea Party leader Pressley Stutts.
