In the May 15th edition of THE STANDARD I mentioned the United Nations Security Council and some of its powers. Now its time to take a closer look at this part of the U.N. organization and its function in the One World Government that is to be implemented.

The Security Council is made up of 15 representatives from various governments. Note that these representatives are not elected by the people, they are appointed by the ruling governments of the various countries.

The Security Council has five permanent members: the United States, China, Great Britain, France, and Russia. The other ten members serve two-year terms and are elected by the General Assembly according to Rule 142 of the rules of procedure. Every two years the 10 non-permanent members are elected according to the following quota:

1. 5 from Africa and Asia
2. 1 from Eastern Europe
3. 2 from Latin America
4. 2 from Western Europe and other states.

It is not difficult to see that the majority of the Security Council will almost always be firmly in the control of Socialists and Communist countries.

We can start getting some insight into the function of the Security Council by reading Article 24 which states:

1. “ in order to ensure prompt and effective action by the United Nations, its Members confer on the Security Council primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security.”
2. “The specific duties of the Security Council in carrying out these responsibilities” are laid out in Chapters VI, VII, VIII and XII.

The Security Council decides who is a threat and how that threat will be dealt with whether the threat is a member of the U.N. or not. This is more evidence that the U.N. is determined to be the leader of a one world government and is determined to let no one keep them from it.

In Article 26 the U.N. will determine how many of what type armaments a member state can have. This will be done, supposedly, “to promote the establishment and maintenance of international peace and security with the least diversion for armaments of the world’s human and economic resources.”

The Security Council will also formulate an “establishment of a system for the regulation of armaments. This will ensure that no one country has the military wherewithal to challenge the power of the U.N.

Let no one be deceived, the U.N. is determined to rule the world and will accept no challenge to its authority to do so. Any dissent will be crushed.

This is not the world I want to leave my grandchildren. Do you? If not then contact your congressional representative and demand they sponsor HR 193 which will get the US out of the UN in 2 years.

We have it in our power to stop this lunacy, all we have to do is get involved. It takes only a couple of minutes to send your representative an email or make a phone call. That isn’t asking much in order to save our future.
