China expert, Steven Mosher, President of the Population Research Institute is issuing a warning to Americans concerning the CCP. Mosher highlights the dangers of using Chinese Communist apps in general, and the new Chinese Communist online store, TEMU, in particular.

For the last four months, TEMU has poured money into an advertising campaign that has blazed across social media. Mosher has expressed strong warnings against downloading any Chinese apps, due to their connection to data privacy and national security concerns, and TEMU is no different. In fact, TEMU’s parent company, Pinduoduo, was recently found to have installed malware on unsuspecting customers that ransacked their phones and computers for data.

In 2017, China passed an intelligence law that requires all companies to turn over any data that may be useful to national security. This means that any data obtained by “private” companies in China is immediately handed over to the state. Currently, China is in the midst of the biggest data collection effort the world has ever seen, and companies like Alibaba and Pinduoduo are part of it, whether they want to be or not.

So, when you download a Chinese app and register, you are effectively handing over your personal data to the Chinese Communist Party.

You may think you are doing business with a private company in China, but you are actually doing business with the Chinese Communist Party, because there are effectively no private companies in China. Of course, the CCP imported such capitalist innovations as the joint stock company, boards of directors, and stock markets to attract Western capital and technology. But like the CCP constitution, which supposedly guarantees freedom of speech and freedom of religion, it’s all a sham.
