Record high numbers of illegal aliens crossing our Southern border are threatening US sovereignty and the security of US citizens.

Make note that not all those who seek entry into America through illegal border crossings are poor farmers seeking a better life. Many times they are “extra-continental” criminals who enter South America and then migrate into America to continue their criminal activities according to the American Immigration Control Foundation.

Conversations this reporter has had with Texas Border Patrol agents indicate that all agents agreed that the border situation was more under control during the Trump administration. But, not now, that situation has changed drastically when one looks at the capture rate of illegals attempting to enter the country.

Customs and Border Patrol statistics in July shows that the Total Enforcement Actions in the CBP Office of Field Operations and the Border Patrol Total Encounters increased yearly from 646,822 in 2020, to 1,956,519 in 2021, to 2,766,582 in 2022, to 2,096,346 through June 15th, 2023 with many months to complete the year. These statistics reveal dangerously massive increases since the Biden Administration has taken office at 3 1/4 to over 4 times as many illegal aliens (through June 2023) entering the country since 2020.

In December 2022, the US Border Patrol reported that 221,000 third world immigrants crossed the border illegally. Just to put that in perspective, last year the number of illegals physically detained at the border by the Border Patrol and apprehended was approximately the size of the city of Houston, Texas at well over 2 million citizens, or almost double the size of Dallas, Texas! That does not include those that got away and were not counted! Among those that “got away” there were drug and human smugglers, convicted felons, insurgents and pedophiles.

In FY2022, Border Patrol reports that there were 2,766,582 Border Patrol Total Encounters which includes “physical control or temporary detainment of a person who is not lawfully in the U.S.” Already by mid-June 2023 2,096,346 illegal aliens have crossed the US Southern border. Most of those will be released directly into the United States. Again that does not include those who were not caught and got away unnoticed.

By comparison, in 2020 under the Trump administration, there were only 646,822 encounters for the entire fiscal year. Under the Biden administration there has been more than 3 1/4 times the number of illegal aliens encountered through June of FY2023 than in the entire year of FY2020.

Many of these encounters and detainments are happening around the El Paso, and Del Rio sectors on the Southern border of Texas.

On my trip to the border I interviewed a local McAllen, Texas resident named Lupe [this is a pseudonym to protect him from potential reprisal], who lives about a mile from the border. Lupe remarked, “I don’t think we’re going to be able to turn it back.”

Lupe said, “The media spent weeks talking about Trumps mental health but ignore Biden’s obvious mental problems.”

While riding the area in this small rural Texas community not even two hundred yards from the Rio Grande, I witnessed 15 illegals being arrested by BP in just about that many minutes. On Texas highway 77, I witnessed another small group of illegals on the ground held by BP. In another stop across the street from a local ballpark a BP crew had captured around 200 illegals all traveling together. This was what I personally witnessed in one day in a small area. And this is happening all along the Southern border of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California.

Surrounding counties hundreds of miles from the border in south Texas are experiencing the illegal invasion too, where human smuggling, murder, and other violations of US law are taking place on a daily basis.

Most residents I spoke with, who lived on the Rio Grande river, did not want to be identified for fear of cartel reprisal. One resident commented “We’re being blindsided by the media”.

Lupe said, that probably 80%+ of the people are Central Americans. He added that “The only ones who hide are from Mexico. The Central Americans don’t get sent back, they are granted asylum.” Because the Central Americans don’t get sent back they know they’ve got a better chance of getting into the country so most border crossers claim they are Central Americans.

Another local resident said that “something doesn’t pass the smell test”. He suspects complicity with local government and illegals. Attempts for an interview with the local McAllen Mayor were met with “unavailable” and we’ll get back to you by his press secretary.

Lupe noted, “All this corruption strengthens the cartels.” He told of an incident that happened where “traffickers took a baby away from the mother and extorted $8000 from her to get the baby back.” He noted that “People are getting kidnapped but their family is afraid to approach the sheriff or law enforcement.”

Many local people realize something is wrong but they won’t say anything due to fear of cartels and possible government entanglement with them. Several of the residents refused to be interviewed on video or in print and expressed their concern of being identified, including some law enforcement. Lupe said, “People are afraid because of Mexican cartels on both sides of the Rio.”

“Local government always wants to take from you through taxes,” said Lupe. “They want to control all the jobs. The local school board owns all the school buses and controls all the jobs. Six figure jobs so they can control people.”

A BP agent I spoke with under conditions of anonymity said that when Trump was in office there was “little to no border crossings.” He commented, “that has all changed since the Biden administration came into power.” He said “illegal border crossings of the Rio Grande are worse now than ever before.”

In November 2022, Texas Governor Greg Abbott invoked the “invasion” clause of both the U.S. and Texas Constitutions to combat the overwhelming illegal immigration into his state. Abbott said it was important to take “unprecedented measures to defend our state against an invasion.”

On my visit to the border I witnessed lots of Border Patrol and National Guard in the area. According to local officials about 10% of the illegals crossing the border are testing positive with corona.

Louisiana Congressman and Senate Majority leader Steve Scalise said that intelligence sources say illegals are crossing our Southern border, including many on the “terrorist watch list”, from 150 countries “because Joe Biden opened it up.” This includes an over 700% increase in those caught crashing the border from China, most of those single adult males, as reported by the New York Post in February. Many of these illegals are armed and from belligerent countries.

In 2020, the Border Patrol reported there were 3 US citizens murdered by illegal aliens convicted of the crime while Donald Trump held office. By contrast, under the Biden administration there were 60 murders committed by illegals in 2021, and 62 murders of US citizens in 2022, with 10 murders already recorded this year; Assaults in 2020 were 208 versus 1,178 in 2021 and 1,142 in 2022. Clearly not having control of the Southern border has increased violent crime by illegals coming across the border.

A border report commissioned by former governor Rick Perry while he was governor found that Texas was under assault and needed the US military to regain control of the Southern border. It was detailed in that 2008 report, while the Obama administration was in office, that ‘Mexican crime cartels using military commandos and transnational gangs had dominated the border to pursue their US drug and human trafficking businesses’. The report stated that this directly affected all citizens who live along the border and in areas where the cartels operate resulting in “smuggling-related violence, burglary, vandalism, and trespassing.”

The report went on to detail that the Federal government under the Democrat controlled Obama administration had “not sufficiently staffed and equipped the office of Field Operations” nor had they done anything to “prevent smuggling… nor provide for a secure and efficient movement of people and commodities to and from Mexico.”

Many of those issues changed under the Trump administration and resulted in lower instances of illegal border crossings. Since the 2020 election of Joe Biden, his administration has once again neglected management of the border situation to prevent illegals from crossing. In fact, the Biden administration has encouraged illegals to cross the border.

On March 18, 2021, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was asked on a CBS This Morning broadcast “Is there going to come a moment where you say, ‘OK, now is the time’?” the host asked.

“In weeks, in several months, we will expand the legal processes that we already have started to rebuild,” the DHS head responded. “We already have reinstituted the Central American Minors program that was built in the Obama-Biden administration that was torn down by the prior administration. But we well understand that out of desperation, some children might not wait.”

“Some loving parents might send their child to traverse Mexico alone to reach the southern border, our southern border. I hope they don’t undertake that perilous journey, but if they do, we will not expel that young child,” Mayorkas added.

“We will care for that young child and unite that child with a responsible parent. That is who we are as a nation, and we can do it.”

Writer Jonathan Jones writing for Western Journal remarked “the Homeland Security chief did not explain what is “loving” about a person sending their child alone across a violent region, or what is loving about making such a journey with child traffickers. Upon arrival, these kids will be housed in one of Biden’s cramped jail-like facilities for minors, which these people are of course aware of.”

Without a deterrent for illegally crossing United States borders the lawless and the revolutionary from around the world will continue to come hell or high water. The border crisis will continue until there is a change of mind in Washington to stop the invasion, or there is enough Americans who will stand against the invasion and make it stop.

Remember who it is that is invading: mostly the lawless, very few families: those who sell drugs, traffic human beings, and perhaps set ablaze chicken houses, food manufacturing and distribution plants, or sabotage trains. Until then, prepare for at least one new city the size of Houston, Texas at 2.5 million illegals every year occupied by illegal invaders from around the world.
