Texas Gov. Abbott opens his state ‘100%’ and takes off mask restrictions. Texas is open for business!

Oh the horror! Texas and Mississippi – amongst other states – have decided to “allow” their states’ entities to open completely and rid them of mask mandates (kind of). These states as well as Florida, South Dakota and selected others have been just fine with a wide open state that allows you to choose your freedom.

Predictably, many on the left and beyond are outraged that states are allowing the citizens to exercise liberty, the staple of America. That was my original argument almost a year ago when governments decided to tell you what to do.

Fast forward to the first anniversary of “two weeks to flatten the curve” and we need to take an even closer look. We have moved much further to the point where citizens just accept things as is and just keep moving on as our country and its states continue to deteriorate.

It is past time for the people to fight back on not only policy, but the narratives that surround those policies. It is obvious by now that we must take a stand and there are many steps to do that.

SC Gov. Henry McMaster loosened mask requirements in government office buildings and restaurants following Texas and Mississippi governors’ lead, and pressure from state citizens.

Counties and municipalities in South Carolina and across the country are taking advantage of the State of Emergency orders by the governors. Legislatures must end the train of 15-day continuous emergency orders.

Heavily GOP legislatures have failed on this front repeatedly. If your elected officials can’t end this, they don’t deserve re-election. When your local representative body mandates lockdowns and mask mandates, it is because they have been emboldened to do so. On a regular basis, local government does not have the authority to implement these drastic measures. END THE CONSTANT STATE OF EMERGENCY BY CONTACTING YOUR LEGISLATORS AND EXECUTIVE OFFICERS!

Another step is to contact local and national legal representation to file lawsuits. There are many legal organizations there to defend the constitution. Mask mandates are violations of HIPAA and OSHA laws amongst other things.  Even private businesses cannot restrict your right to be unmasked.

Many of you are wearing masks just for the purpose of not being confronted. Stop that. If you wear a mask just because it is an accepted part of society, you are adding to the degradation of society. Almost all of these businesses who have a mask on the door will not enforce the mask at all. Giving in to a false narrative because you “don’t want to deal with it” sets our society further back.

Something that has grated on me as time has passed is the simple data that MASKS DON’T WORK. Whether it be mask mandates or mask compliance globally, masks absolutely make no difference in cases or deaths. I implore you to research and share information on the lack of effectiveness of masks. Stop treating failed bureaucrats as if they are Gods. Please check out rationalground.com to arm yourself with the facts.

The United States has been as gung-ho on mask usage in schools as any country in the world. Stop this. Stats repeatedly show that schools and young children are not spreaders for this virus and countries are denying mask mandates because it is bad for young people. Stay aggressive on your local school board and the state department of education. Agreeing to a point that “well let’s just agree to whatever gets kids back in some kind of schooling” is not acceptable for now or the future.

Stop treating failed bureaucrats as if they are Gods.

As someone who has spent an unbelievable amount of time focusing on public school policy, it is tough to say, but it is a big government bureaucracy. We continue to see that during the pandemic –  home schooling, charter schools, private schools, etc. continue to be more consistent ways of educating children. If you care about educating children, you MUST lobby your legislators to have your taxpayer money to follow the child.

Education is the largest, mismanaged bureaucracy and it is simply nearly impossible to package into a good project. The citizens deserve what is best and bureaucracy shouldn’t get in the way.

Finally, if you have elected representation that doesn’t advocate for freedom and the steps outlined above, you should run or support someone against them. Get involved in your county party or grassroots organizations. Create a grassroots organization. Come up with your own idea.

Because I believe in the facts on the ground and keeping our state and country thriving, I am accused of not caring about the lives of people. No, because of the things I’ve outlined, I care about every single person.
