The 45th President Donald J. Trump spoke at the Florence, SC airport in March to over 30,000 people who started arriving before sunrise. They braved rain and bone chilling weather to see their hero.

President Donald J. Trump has been touring the United States promoting his MAGA movement through ideas of Making America Great Again. He has recently held rallies in N.C., Georgia nd other parts of the country.

In March he was in Florence, SC where this writer saw him firsthand. There was a sea of people from every part of the country. As far as the eye could see on what felt like the coldest night of nearly the entire winter, cars lined up to park in rows at the Florence, SC Airport carrying loyal Donald Trump fans to see the great leader and hear what he had to say on Ukraine, Biden and the “Make America Great Again” campaign.

In attendance there were many notable figures, among them My Pillow business magnate Mike Lindell and former University of SC football coach Lou Holtz; State officials Governor Henry McMaster, Lt. Governor Pamela Yvette, 2nd District Congressman Joe Wilson, District 88 House Representative R.J. May, and others. Also among the crowd were many Republican candidates challenging for office: gubernatorial candidate Harrison “Trucker Bob” Musselwhite, candidate for Attorney General Lauren Martel, candidate for SC State Superintendent of Education Dr. Kizzie Gibson, 1st Congressional District candidate Katie Arrington, and others.

The 30,000+ attendees who came out to see former President Donald Trump were not disappointed! Despite a cold SC reception which Trump said felt “like Alaska!” The crowd was energetic and receptive hanging on every word. He spoke about his leadership as the former president and the poor performance of current President Joseph Biden: that Trump honored both God, traditional values and America’s greatness.

Trump spoke about the stolen election and Biden’s poor showing in foreign affairs, among other items. “We actually had 12 million more votes the second election than we had the first time!” Trump stated, and he accused Google and YouTube of censoring his videos even recently on Universal Voter ID and returning to Same Day Elections except for overseas and military personnel. “Zuckerberg put $8.8 million into promoting Biden. There were awful stats of high percentages of voters from nursing homes, for example, that made no sense.”

Dr. Kizzie Gibson

Trump took the time to point out disloyalists like Tom Rice, District 7 Congressman from Horry County, who voted for his impeachment and aided the Democrats, and Nancy Mace, District 1 Congresswoman from Charleston, who he stated begged for his endorsement two years ago then changed her mind on supporting him. He wholeheartedly endorsed current Governor Henry McMaster, Lt. Governor Pamela Yvette, and others in attendance at the rally.

MAJOR POINTS OF TRUMP’S SPEECH

Trump listed a number of important points about what he sees as essential for America to maintain its leadership both here and abroad. These points included:

• Having strength in the White House, especially in foreign policy
• Eliminating dependence on foreign oil
• Bringing back manufacturing to America using heavy tariffs
• Strengthening the borders, stopping open borders, keeping out illegals, terrorists, and gangs
• Backing our police and military
• Giving parents control of education
• Getting “political correctness” out of the military
• Defunding racist equity mandates and banning Critical Race Theory teaching
• Keeping men out of women’s sports
• Stopping Big Tech companies from dishonesty and corruption
• Restoring Free Speech to America
• Controlling crime waves in Democratic cities like Portland and Chicago
• Defending the U.S. Constitution
• Stopping Marxist Socialist and Anti-Americanism from destroying America
• Upholding Judeo-Christian Values
• Restoring Patriotic education—pride in America
• Honoring our history and the United States flag
• Kneeling to God and to God alone.

Trump is right. All the points he made in his speech are valid and highly important points for us to pursue to keep America as the leading country in the world where “Free Speech,” not aggression, reigns, where “Cancel Culture” and “Woke” media—a term for teenage behavior—do NOT determine our public policy, our attitude toward police or the military, or the censorship of what has been taught for generations in our public schools.

When Trump points out Christian values and homage to God, he is stating what is truly first and foremost in our society which has already been under attack by “Never Trumpers” and the immature who wish to lead and rule; The importance of morality and tradition in our schools and the need to remember God at all times for His help in making America the Great Nation it has been for roughly 250 years.

As Trump pointed out: as if one refugee crisis this year weren’t enough with the poorly executed pull-out of US troops from Afghanistan, President Biden has had a negative impact on Russia regarding its invasion of Ukraine and a second awful refugee crisis of over two million citizens of Ukraine. If Hunter Biden hadn’t been involved in Ukraine’s politics, “backed” by statements of then Vice President Biden forcing Ukraine’s hand on certain issues, would Russia have been less likely to invade Ukraine? This is probably true.

That cold SC night in Florence last month, Trump electrified the crowd like nobody else has done in recent memory. He mesmerized the crowd with comforting words and once again sparked a hope of what it will be like in better days ahead while we work to make America great again!
