In an interview with BBC Radio’s The World at One recently, UK vaccine minister Nadhim Zahawi said that he expects bars, cinemas, restaurants, and sports stadiums to all demand proof of vaccination against COVID-19 before allowing customers to enter their venues.
Zahawi was responding to the host’s question regarding the UK’s “immunity passports” that are registered within a phone app to allow a person to travel or enter a sporting or entertainment venue. He indicated that he expects other UK businesses to also begin using the immunity passport system, meaning UK citizens without proof of vaccination could soon find themselves on the outside looking in when it comes to fully participating in their nation’s economy.
If you’re thinking to yourself, well, this won’t affect me here in the US. After all, the UK is much farther down the road to socialism… not so fast.
First of all, many international airlines are planning to require proof of a COVID vaccination in order to fly. Once the vaccine becomes widely available, visiting a theme park may also require proof of having been vaccinated. Would bars, restaurants, and other businesses follow suit? Might leftist politicians in state, county, and municipal governments require something similar to the above mentioned “immunity passport” to do business in their jurisdictions?
It certainly seems plausible, especially in light of the many lockdowns and mask mandates that have been forced on, and even embraced by, a frightened populace. Many people seem more than ready to accept whatever is necessary in order to be kept “safe’ from the COVID virus.
The question therefore arises, what might this mean to those of us who, for a variety of reasons, have no intention of accepting the vaccine? It is not within the scope of this article to discuss the many reasons people might have for not accepting the COVID vaccine. Suffice it to say that there are many people who would choose not to take it.
Initially, at least, it would mean inconvenience, in some cases extreme. What if your job or business requires you to travel internationally, or what if US carriers decide to also require the vaccine? If that happens, the potential loss of income, loss of position or career could become a great hardship for many, to say nothing of the lost ability to simply visit family and friends.
The real hardship would come when other businesses begin requiring the vaccine. What if Walmart, Target, and Costco started requiring proof of vaccination or immunity in order to enter their stores? How would that impact you and your family? What if Home Depot and Lowes followed suit?
It doesn’t take much of an imagination to see how detrimental this might be, not only to individuals and families, but also to communities and to our economy overall. There’s no way to know how many might refuse the vaccine, but it would likely be a significant percentage of the population. Even 15% would have a big impact on the economy, and the result of that impact would mean the beginning of a new segregation in America.
The American capitalist is nothing if not resilient, and businesses would start popping up to serve the unvaccinated. After all, where there’s an under-served market, entrepreneurs will rush to fill the need. It won’t even matter if vaccinations become federal, state, or local law, because the unvaccinated economy would simply go underground, and become a black market of sorts.
In other words, we would be looking at two new classes of people, vaccinated and unvaccinated, and totally separate economies serving each class. One economy would be free and open, as long as you were a member of the favored “Vaxed” class. The other would be underground, expensive, and inconvenient for those “Unvaxed” and therefore unwelcome. This is not in keeping with the One Nation Under God credo of the United States, and would serve to divide us even further than we already are.
The question we should be asking is, can any of this be prevented before it happens? The answer is, yes, but we need to act fast, and act courageously.
At the time of this writing, President Trump and his legal team are fighting furiously to prevent the 2020 Presidential election from being stolen via voter and election fraud. If Trump wins this battle, it will be much harder for the socialists in America to implement their vaccination agenda. Pray for President Trump and his legal team to be victorious.
Writing and calling your state, county, and local elected officials is also a crucial task in this battle. Let them know in no uncertain terms that you strongly support medical freedom, that you will not accept a forced vaccination, and that you will vote against any representative who approves of such a scheme. Convince your friends and family to do the same.
At this point, there are too many uncertainties to know exactly how all of this might play out, but it’s clearly no longer a far-fetched scenario. Now is the time for you to prepare yourself, if you haven’t already begun doing so. Wars have been fought over far less serious national divisions. When one class of citizen is effectively excluded from the economy of their nation, those citizens are fully justified in using whatever means necessary to reclaim their rights, and insure their survival.
